Purpose
The Landing Resort is committed to providing a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for guests, visitors, employees and contractors.
This policy sets out the requirements for alcohol use, prohibited substances and guest behaviour at The Landing Resort.
Alcohol, Drugs and Guest Responsibilities
The Landing Resort permits the responsible consumption of alcohol by guests within guest rooms and designated areas approved by management.
Alcohol must not be consumed in reception areas, laundries, gym facilities, workshops, plant rooms, back-of-house operational areas, car parks or any other area designated by management. For safety reasons, glass containers are not permitted in or around the swimming pool area.
Illegal drugs and prohibited substances are not permitted on the property.
Guests using prescribed medication, including prescribed medicinal cannabis, must ensure its use does not result in impairment or behaviour that may affect the safety, security or well-being of themselves or others. The lawful use of prescribed medication does not exempt any person from complying with the behavioural and safety requirements of this policy.
Guests must not engage in any conduct that places themselves or others at risk, interferes with the operation of the property, or adversely affects the safety, comfort or enjoyment of other guests, visitors or employees.
Management reserves the right to require alcohol consumption to cease, restrict or remove alcohol from designated areas, refuse service, restrict access to facilities or require individuals to leave the property where behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, unlawful or inconsistent with this policy.
Guest Behaviour
Guests are expected to comply with all village rules and conduct themselves in a manner that respects the safety, comfort, wellbeing and enjoyment of other guests, visitors and staff.
The following behaviour will not be tolerated:
Management Rights
Management reserves the right to require alcohol consumption to cease, restrict access to facilities, remove alcohol from designated areas, or require individuals to leave the property where behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, unlawful or impacts the safety, comfort or enjoyment of others.
BreachesFailure to comply with this policy may result in removal from facilities, cancellation of accommodation, eviction from the property, or notification to relevant authorities where required.
Where accommodation has been arranged by an employer, management may notify the employer of any serious breach of this policy.
We commit to reviewing this policy not less than every 2 years.
