Cyclone Procedure
BLUE ALERT
1- Contact your supervisor to ascertain if you are sheltering at The Landing Resort, sheltering elsewhere or evacuating.
2a- If you are sheltering elsewhere or evacuating - Prepare evacuation items and await instructions from your supervisor. When you are instructed to leave The Landing, close all windows in your room, lock your door and proceed to reception where you are required to check out and advise reception of your movements.
2b- If you are sheltering at The Landing – secure loose items in your room, regularly check for updates, information and tracking maps. If you require medication ensure you have ample supplies to allow a lockdown period of up to 72 hours.
3- At all times follow the instructions of your supervisor, The Landing management, monitor site cyclone board and The Bureau of Meteorology website.

YELLOW ALERT
1- The consumption of alcohol on site is now prohibited. Breach of this policy may result in termination of accommodation and removal from the site by police.
2- Ensure evacuation gear including, basic toiletries, entertainment items, items of interest and blankets/pillow are at hand ready for evacuation to shelters if required.
3- Listen to instructions of The Landing site management, monitor site cyclone board and The Bureau of Meteorology website.

RED ALERT
1- RED ALERT will be notified by – changing of site signage and flags to display the
RED ALERT and a door knock of all occupied rooms by site staff.
2- Upon being notified of RED ALERT proceed to the kitchen for rations, then return to your room. Keep windows closed at all times and remain in the room until ALL CLEAR is given – It is against WA law to be outside during this time, and any offender of this breach will be notified to officials.
3- At all times listen and follow instructions from The Landing staff.
